Other Requirements
The Royal Caledonian Educational Trust supports the offspring of Scottish members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. The child or young person can be non-Scottish as long as the parent is Scottish. Scottish being any of the following:
- A born Scot
- Living and serving with their family in Scotland
- Veterans who have made Scotland their family home
We support Scottish offspring of members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. The parent can be non-Scottish as long as the child is Scottish (whether living with the parent or not). Scottish being any of the following:
- A born Scot
- Living in Scotland
- Currently being educated in Scotland
The child or children must have reached statutory pre-school age or above in the UK. Tertiary applicants must be aged 21 or under on the commencement of FE/HE education and study in a UK college/university on an Undergraduate programme only. Documentary proof of service and place of birth will be required.
