You will be eligible to apply for the Independent Students’ Bursary of £1,000 a year if your household income is £20,999 or less a year and you meet the other eligibility conditions. If your household income is over £21,000 a year, you will not qualify for ISB and your living cost support will be entirely through a student loan.
