Learning Facilities
RGU has recently invested more than £100 million in the development of its campus, an ongoing project, and in new facilities and resources.
There are a plethora of art, design and craft facilities for you to experiment and explore your creative potential whilst studying at RGU.
Moodle is RGU’s virtual learning environment (VLE). It is an essential resource that you can access from any internet enabled device, such as a laptop or mobile device, both on and off campus.
RGU has extensive IT support with a variety of computing labs located on campus. All the PCs and Macs are equipped with the latest software to support your virtual learning.
RGU boasts a range of modern, purpose-built laboratories and equipment with the latest engineering technology ensuring you always have support to undertake complex and challenging projects.
Located in the heart of the University Campus, the Georgina Scott Sutherland Learning Centre is Robert Gordon University’s newest open study space.
We pride ourselves on giving you access to an abundance of specialised facilities to ensure you get as much hands-on experience to prepare you for the workplace in any health or science professions.
We have a dedicated IT services team on hand to help you with any IT issues whether you’re a student, staff member or visitor to RGU.
You will have access to our innovative Law facilities such as the Moot Court where you can put your debating skills to practice and extensive learning resources including legal databases.
Located at the heart of the campus, you can’t miss the striking green glass Library tower. There are four floors of books and journals, computers and study space for you to make use of.
The Study Skills team offer advice on a range of study skills, supporting you in meeting your academic potential, and in becoming a confident, independent learner.
