Looking into the origins of storytelling, this workshop will help you expand your imagination whilst being led through a process that supports you to find and create your own story. Your story will be used as the basis for making a pair of prototype story brooches.
This workshop explores the art of making your own ‘wee’ book alongside the design and construction of your own accompanying brooch.
Taking inspiration from storytelling, you will learn how to create your own designs and how you can develop these designs into making your own physical product - a product through which you will communicate your own story.
Your outcome will include a ‘wee’ storybook and involves two full colour brooch prototypes made from card.
You will leave the workshop equip with the knowledge and ability to take your ideas forward into the production of your own individual product.
