
Aberdeen Boat Race 2025: Meet the crew
Ahead of this weekend's 30th Aberdeen Boat Race, get to know the RGU first crew that little better...
The latest Aberdeen Boat Race will take place on Saturday 15 March. The first crew race and main event will take place at 2:30PM with three other races taking place beforehand: the Universities Sports Presidents Race at 12:50PM, the second crew at 1:05PM, and the alumni race at 1:25PM.

The first crew will see Mia Paul in as Cox and Mara Quintana Perez as Bow. In what is a female-dominated race, Laura Stewart is President of the RGU Boat Club and takes up her spot in seventh. In addition to their hometown and year of study/course, we also asked each member about their sporting inspiration is and their favourite thing about Aberdeen (with varying results)...
