Our campus is for more than just studying, it’s for bringing the community together
At Robert Gordon University, our campus is not just a place of study and work. It provides an environment to bring our community together to socialise, participate in events and activities, and, importantly, have fun with friends and family.
Covid-19 was undoubtedly disruptive to life at RGU, but as we move forward we will continue to build a campus representative of our culture – lively, diverse and community-binding.
That’s why we are delighted to work towards our ‘Vibrant Campus’ vision, led by a group of staff and students, to encourage everyone to get the most out of our campus. The Vibrant Campus initiative seeks to create events and activities for staff, students and the local community to get involved with so that we can bring our community together beyond work and study.
Among the great events to look out for in the coming academic year include community gardening, Vibrant Campus illustration competitions, imagining an edible campus, sound sessions, and many more to get involved with.
These events are just the start of what I hope will be a continuous drive to foster a welcoming campus and inclusive University environment. So, keep an eye out for information on our vibrant campus events, and please get involved.
Please get in touch with any contributions or ideas you may have for the Vibrant Campus project and get the most out of your campus in the new academic year:
