This workshop is an introduction to BBC micro:bit; a small computer that supports creativity using digital technology. The micro:bit was initially created as part of the BBC’s Make it Digital initiative that launched in 2014, aimed to stimulate creativity using programming and digital technology as a medium. The project supported STEM related learning.
This practical, two-day workshop will take place in our photography studio. The workshop is an introduction to the complexities of Digital Photography whereby participants will be taught how to photograph a still life product using a DSLR camera/digital camera.

This one-day introductory workshop invites you to spend your time learning the ancient craft of throwing; a method of forming pottery using a potter’s wheel. This workshop is available on two different days in August.
