Ways to Access Your Timetable
Gray's School of Art Students
Gray's School of Art students can access timetables for their stage of study via Moodle:
Please note, the Gray's School of Art timetable is not applicable to Fashion Management, Media and International Fashion Business students who will have access to an individual timetable in line with all other students.
All Other Students
At RGU, we provide students with individual timetables containing on campus events they need to attend and any online teaching which must be viewed or attended online at a set time.
Individual timetables for Semester 1 2024/25 may be accessed from Monday 12 August, but may not be fully populated with smaller group events, such as seminars, until the end of August. Some courses will be fully populated by a later date:
- Courses delivered by Aberdeen Business School - Friday 6 September 2024
- Courses delivered by School of Computing and School of Engineering - Friday 6 September 2024
- Courses relating to Fashion Management and Media - Friday 6 September 2024
- Courses relating to Law - Friday 6 September 2024
- Courses relating to Nursing, Midwifery or Paramedic Practice - Wednesday 18 September 2024
To access your individual timetable, once you have enrolled, choose one of these easy ways to help keep you on track and in the right place at the right time.
When you first log in to your individual timetable you may see a partial timetable with only lectures and events common to everyone taking the same modules. Once you are assigned to tutorial/practical/seminar group(s) by your school, your timetable will also contain these events. Optional module events will also appear in your timetable at a later date.
1. RGU CELCAT Calendar
CELCAT Calendar is the easiest way for you to view your individual timetable for the whole semester, and the semester ahead once it becomes available.
The calendar displays your timetabled events in UK time and updates every 15 minutes, so you can be sure that what you are seeing takes care of recent changes.
How to access RGU CELCAT Calendar
- First select Log In
- Enter your 7 digit student ID as your user name and then your password.
- Select Log In
- Select the ‘month’ ‘week’ or ‘day’ viewing option you prefer. You can scroll between the weeks for example by using the arrows at the top left of the screen
- Select an event to see the details of it by clicking on it. The event details will display on left side of the screen.
Please see our guide for full details of finding your way around the CELCAT Calendar.
2. MyRGU
It is also possible to view your individual timetable up to 4 weeks ahead within the MyRGU App Calendar tile.
All events are displayed in your local time (or the timezone you have set up on your device). If you are outside the UK there is no need to convert times. This has already been done for you. Join your events at the time shown in your app
Select the Calendar tile on the home screen.
Then simply scroll through the calendar weeks using the arrow keys.
Select events by tapping on them to reveal more details such as where the event is taking place and which module it is part of.
The data on your individual timetable updates in MYRGU every 15 minutes.
You may also view your timetable for the whole semester, and the semester ahead once it becomes available from MYRGU. Select the Full Timetable tile also found on the home screen.
This will take you to CELCAT Calendar. To use CELCAT Calendar please follow the instructions for 1. RGU CELCAT Calendar
3. Group Timetables
You no longer need to look up timetables for your group on Moodle because individual timetables are now available at RGU through CELCAT Calendar. Instead you can login to CELCAT Calendar and look at the events you have been personally assigned to.
However, if you still wish to access your calendar for your groups, you can do so via Timetabling on RGyoU.
Updates to Group Timetables
Group timetables on CELCAT update overnight and therefore, any changes made by your school are not reflected until the following working day.
For a more up to date timetable, please refer to your individual timetable through either CELCAT or MyRGU.
