1Overview
The Centre for Masters’ Training in Energy Transition (CMT) promotes access to resources and training for the next generation of geoscientists and engineers to successfully meet the climate change challenge of attaining net zero carbon emissions and delivering sustainable energy for the 21st Century.
The principal objective of this CMT initiative is to attract highly talented students into vocational training in energy geoscience; an integral UK “home-grown” part of the energy sector. As we are well aware, the continuing decline in student (UG and PG) numbers in geoscience over the past few years is a concern. The intent of the Bursaries is to make a contribution to reverse this trend.
Applications are made by the course, direct from the Universities, so if you are a prospective postgraduate student, you need to apply to a course of your choice, be accepted, and then make sure you are considered for this scholarship.
