This short foundation course has been developed for new entrants to the Document Control function in the Oil and Gas sector.
It aims to enable you to gain knowledge and understanding of the value and practice of information management and document control.

Attendance at the University is not required.
Students take this course because they want to move into a document control role, usually in the energy industry but sometimes also in industries such as construction or transport.

You do not require any formal academic qualifications. You should be a new entrant to the Document Control function in an Oil and Gas Company or Contractor.
All international students, for whom English is not their first language, should have either IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL. You should note that modules taken through Professional Development@RGU are not eligible for Student Route sponsorship.
