Energy Data Management with Business Analytics is the first course in the world to bring together asset data management across multiple arms of the bulk power generation sector; specifically, wind, oil and gas and nuclear. The inclusion of Business Analytics further enhances the employability of data managers across the sector.

Mode of Attendance

Start Date

September

Course Length

9 months

You will develop an understanding of the lifecycle of various types of technical data that describe the physical assets of bulk power generation in nuclear and wind power and in oil and gas. Some of these data types require management over decades and even centuries.

Further, you will explore what is necessary to protect and provide this data for use along the asset’s own lifecycle. This draws on the principles of the parent discipline of Information Management, as well as incorporating Business Analytics. Students will thus have perspectives as data service providers and data analysts.
