Join this one-hour session of embodied movement which involves drawing using the movements led by the participant’s own body. The session will be led by Megan Alexandra Keith, who is the yogi behind Breathe Sisters.
Weather permitting this 1-hour practice will take place outdoors within the heart of Gray’s School of Art, also known as the Quad.
The aim of this practice is to allow participants to connect inward and step away from their busy day. Instead, participants are invited to learn the healing power of connecting to body, mind and breath.
During the practice, participants are supported to calm the mind, reduce hyper stimulation and remove stress from the nervous system.
This will be achieved through embodied movement combined with mark making using materials such as chalk, pencils, pens and paper.
Breathwork will be integrated throughout the guided session.
It’s hoped the practice will allow for more creative processes to come through and to stimulate a deeper creative practice through the rituals of mindfulness.
