RGU works in partnership with affiliate colleges to provide a range of guaranteed progression pathways for Scottish students. Each year over 400 students gain advanced entry to RGU having first completed a HNC or HND at college.

If you're studying for an HNC or HND at college, Degree Link gives you a guaranteed route to complete a degree at Robert Gordon University (RGU). Every year, over 400 students make the move from college to university through this flexible and supportive pathway.

How Degree Link Works
Through our partnerships with colleges across Scotland, Degree Link offers:
- Guaranteed progression pathways (subject to conditions)
- Advanced entry into Year 2 or 3 of your degree
- Support at every stage, from college to graduation
Even if there’s no formal agreement for your course, we still welcome applications from students with relevant HNC or HND qualifications.

RGU and NESCol have a longstanding relationship providing guaranteed progression opportunities for learners and have over 80 pathways available across all our academic Schools.
RGU and Dundee and Angus College have a longstanding relationship providing guaranteed progression opportunities for learners and have over 70 pathways in place for HN students.
We have over 75 guaranteed progression opportunities in place for Fife College students.
We have over 10 guaranteed progression opportunities in place for City of Glasgow college students.
We have over 40 guaranteed progression opportunities in place for Glasgow Clyde College students.
]We have over 35 guaranteed progression opportunities in place for Forth Valley College students.
We have over 30 guaranteed progression opportunities in place for West Lothian College students who would like to join us at Robert Gordon University.
The Associate Student Scheme is designed for students who are studying for a HNC or HND at one of our partner colleges and plan to progress to Robert Gordon University directly into year two or three of a linked degree course.
