Research and Innovation Centres
RGU’s research centres create space for collaboration on real‑world challenges.

ACER sparks entrepreneurship by uniting research, enterprise education and venture support, connecting people, knowledge and opportunities to turn ideas into businesses and impactful learning that thrive in dynamic ecosystems today.

SPeiR is driven by intellectual curiosity and enquiry. We explore how communities see themselves and understand their heritage, how we can hear hidden voices, how cultural organisations benefit society, and how the past can shape sustainable futures for people and places.

The FuSE Research and Innovation Centre provides a hub for education research at RGU, driving innovation, excellence and impact. The Centre’s research focuses on key areas including work-integrated learning, the student experience, and institutional enhancement. Through this work, FuSE strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration across research and teaching.

CLaRION focuses on advancing legal rights as a pathway to social justice and inclusion in Scotland and beyond. By addressing human rights concerns, poverty, growing inequalities, barriers to healthcare and the impact of climate change, it bridges the gap between rights recognised in law and rights experienced in everyday life.
