What attracted you to your course at RGU?
RGU has one of the best ranked physiotherapy programs in the UK with a really experienced and talented lecture team.
Before coming to RGU, what was your expectation of it - and how has the reality been?
I expected a small class environment where you can be close with your classmates and teachers, which has always been the case since I got here.
What's the best thing about being an RGU student?
There are a lot of clubs, sports teams, and free fitness classes available to participate in as a student. Inside and outside the classroom, there are so new many people you can meet.
Describe your favourite memory of RGU so far?
Joining the RGU Basketball team and the Muay Thai team club. It was fun participating in practices and games with my teammates and a great way to meet new people.
Tell us about your most challenging/rewarding project/assignment/module. What did you like/dislike about it and how has it helped you?
The Neuro module was very challenging, but also very informative for commonly seen conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis etc. My placement has also been varied, which has made this really interesting for me too.
What is your favourite way to spend your time when you are not studying?
I enjoy exploring different cities, hiking, going to the beach, playing sports such as Muay Thai and basketball.
What would you say to someone considering studying at RGU?
Find out how you best study/learn (at the library. at home, with a group, friends etc) but also make sure to participate in different clubs, sports teams and generally participate in as many activities as you can manage.
What do you enjoy most about living in Aberdeen?
Everything is accessible in this small town; the nearby beach has a great entertainment hub.
