What attracted you to your course at RGU?
RGU has always had the reputation for academic excellence and I knew that coming to RGU would meet my expectations regarding my chosen course of study.
Before coming to RGU, what were your expectations? And now that you are here, have your experiences differed?
My expectations before coming to RGU was to have a good learning experience and I have not been disappointed.
What’s the best thing about being an RGU student?
The flipped learning approach that gives room for engagement and contributions from students.
Describe your favourite memory of RGU so far?
My favourite memory at RGU was seeing the layout of the university on my first visit especially the beautiful River Dee. I captured beautiful moments down by the river.
Tell us about your most challenging or rewarding project, assignment or module. What did you like or dislike about it and how has it helped you?
The Pecha Kucha. It was interesting but challenging getting the timing on the slides right. It taught me how to be precise in my presentations. No rambling, just straight to the point impactful messages.
What is your favourite way to spend your time when you are not studying?
I love to read, exercise and take long walks.
What would you say to someone considering studying at RGU? Any advice you would share?
Take the leap, RGU provides a very warm environment for students. I can say that as an international student, I have experienced this first hand.
What do you enjoy most about living in Aberdeen (city, food, people, entertainment, travel, etc.)?
The serenity of the city.
