The clinic aims to provide practical experience for law students, while also serving the community by offering much-needed legal assistance to those who cannot afford traditional legal services. By participating in the clinic, students gain valuable hands-on experience in client interaction, legal research, and case management under the guidance of experienced practitioners.

The Orkney clinic operates on an appointment only basis, primarily on Thursday evenings, during the appointment one of our student volunteers, supported by a member of academic staff, will discuss your matter with you, to establish that it falls within the range of areas that we are able to advise on.
