Crathie Student Village

Crathie Student Village comprises four blocks of three or four storeys, with fourteen flats in total. The flats are for 5-8 people with two x 5-bed flats, one x 6-bed flat, eight x 7-bed flats and three x 8-bed flats. 

The reception office is accessible from Holburn Street and the flats are accessed from the car park at the rear which is off Crathie Terrace, or from Riverside Terrace (pedestrians only). There is no lift.

Buses & Parking

Bus route 1 direct to the campus (15 minutes), or bus route 2 to the city centre (15-20 minutes), both from adjacent Holburn Street. The campus is 25 minutes walk and the city centre is about 20-30 minutes walk. 

Small onsite car park for residents only at no additional charge on a first come first served basis. There may also be parking available in nearby streets but check for areas where a parking permit is required. There are external bike racks free of charge in the car park area.

Facilities

RGU has provided TVs in the lounge of each flat which includes a TV licence so you can watch TV with flatmates or connect your console for playing games.

This is one of the few sites with free parking on site but do note that parking is limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Crathie is an environmentally aware site, with automated lighting in communal areas and solar panels on the roof.

Local Area

Crathie Student Village is within walking distance of university, shops and social life so if you want to keep transport costs down, this could be a good location for you.

If you like to get out and about the Duthie Park and Deeside Way are close by and ideal for walking and cycling.
