What founders should be thinking about as the AI hype and dust settles.  Discussing trust, environmental impact, equality of access, AI confidence and Copiolt. Join Caroline, Sheryl Newman and Sooz Young from Women in Tech Aberdeen discussing businesses adopting AI in 2026.

Heard about the Hugging Face AI hacking scandal? As AI moves from hype to everyday business reality, knowing what to use — and what to avoid — has never been more important.

Join 2026 TEDx speaker Caroline Laurenson and fellow Women in Tech Aberdeen speakers Sheryl Newman and Sooz Young for a practical, honest and refreshingly unfiltered online AI Masterclass.

What really happens when you put AI to work?

RGU Startup Accelerator alumna Caroline Laurenson will share the less polished side of her business journey — what she wishes she’d known about AI, the pivots she made, what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons she learned along the way.

Which AI tools are actually useful?

Sheryl Newman will explore practical AI tools for business, with a focus on Microsoft Copilot and how businesses can use it effectively.

How do you actually get people to adopt AI?

Sooz Young, founder of Technology Coaching, helps businesses adopt technology such as AI. She also hosts the Digital Dominators podcast and has been a panelist at the European Chatbot event in Edinburgh.

Expect real-world experiences, practical tools and honest insights — helping you cut through the AI noise and discover technology that people will actually want to use.

Delivered in collaboration with Women in Tech Aberdeen.
