Planting Hope & Smashing Stigma: One Yellow Tulip Bulb at a Time

This open talk is for all students, staff, and alumni who want to find out more about innovative ways to address mental health using creativity and nature-based interventions.

The Yellow Tulip Project is an innovative, global, nonprofit organisation with a mission to smash the stigma surrounding mental illness, build community and spread hope.  This presentation will focus on new approaches to addressing the mental health crisis, including public art, storytelling and nature-based interventions, including the Yellow Tulip Hope Garden that RGU planted on campus recently.  

These initiatives are all designed to challenge the social stigma surrounding mental health issues.
