For Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, join the event to look at entrepreneurial opportunities within this topic, presented by Professor Eyad Elyan & Dr Pascal Ezenkwu.
Broadening the global perspective on AI. The theme of Global Entrepreneurship Week this year is 'Entrepreneurship is for everyone' encouraging democratising opportunities. Join the engaging online event as we consider the use of Artificial Intelligence as an entrepreneurship opportunity and or threat internationally. Can 'entrepreneurship be for everyone' given the differences of AI advancements around the world?
Looking at AI automation agencies creating businesses using cutting-edge AI tools and automation to solve problems we never knew existed taking business to the next level. So could AI be the great leveller or cause a greater divide globally?

Speakers
Dr Pascal Ezenkwu is a lecturer in Business Analytics at Robert Gordon University, where he leads the School's Business Engagement Team and the Online Distance Graduate Certificate in Energy Data Management with Business Analytics course. Holding a PhD in Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, Pascal specialises in autonomous artificial intelligence and was recognised as a UK Global Talent in AI by the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2022. He has gained practical experience through interdisciplinary and industrial research projects, successfully applying AI in businesses.
He collaborates extensively with various industries across the UK, actively contributing to the creation of state-of-the-art AI solutions to optimise and digitally transform their operations. With a track record encompassing over 100 publications in AI and Machine Learning, supervision of 12 successful PhD completions, and leadership on more than 50 innovative industry projects, he was recognised with the UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership Academic of the Year award in 2023, An award, that is given to individuals for their exceptional skills and commitment in knowledge translation, leadership, team building and mentoring. In 2024, he was shortlisted as a finalist for the Scottish Knowledge Exchange Award for his contribution to knowledge exchange and innovation in Scotland.
