The Yellow Tulip Project has teamed up with COIL@UArctic to create an exciting new opportunity for students across the world to smash the stigma of mental ill health. Find out more about how students in your university or college can get involved in our online session.

The aim of this innovative opportunity is shine a light on the mental health challenges that so many young people experience and to address it with actionable, hopeful, community building and accessible actions.

Our mission is to get as many university and college campuses as possible to plant a yellow tulip garden (or painted yellow stones) by Global Mental Health Day, 10th October 2024 (or at another date this autumn). Students will be invited to share their personal stories of ‘Hope’ and images of the blossoming tulip gardens at the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week, Spring 2025.

To make this work, we need a small team of students from UArctic and non-UArctic colleges and universities to collaborate with us online and spread the word.

Join us on MS Teams from 16:00 to 17:00 (UTC) / 11:00 to 12:00 (EST), to find out more about this important project and how students in your university or college can get involved.
