Scott Cameron
Scott is responsible for leading and delivering the University’s HR (people) strategy, with a focus on maximising the potential, commitment and contribution of all staff throughout the lifetime of their employment. He is particularly interested in equality, diversity and inclusion and enabling a culture where all staff are engaged, empowered and are given the opportunity to thrive.
Scott is an RGU graduate, having studied Public Policy and Management at the University from 1997-2001 and then returning a year later to undertake a post-graduate diploma in HRM. He returned to the University again in 2006 as an HR Business Partner, before progressing to HR Manager, Head of HR, and most recently Director.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is a season ticket holder at Pittodrie, enjoys walking and fishing, and is interested in history, politics and current affairs.
