Oluwanifemi Afolayan

Oluwanifemi Isaac Afolayan currently serves as the Student Vice-President (Societies) at Robert Gordon University.

He holds a first degree in Computer Science and is now pursuing an MSc in Data Science. His academic journey reflects a strong foundation in technology and a commitment to advancing his expertise in technological sciences.

Throughout his journey in this field, he has taken on a diverse range of projects. These endeavours have spanned from real-time stock price prediction to delving into the intricacies of gas price fluctuations, and much more. This rich experience has endowed him with a versatile skill set, enabling him to adeptly address a wide array of data-driven challenges.

With a technical background, Oluwanifemi brings a unique perspective to his leadership role, effectively bridging the gap between technology and student engagement. His dedication to his responsibilities as Vice-President showcases his passion for fostering a vibrant and inclusive student community. As Vice-President, he aims to enhance communication between the Union and its members and encourage various activities that benefit students' social well-being on campus not just academics alone.
