Maggie McGinlay
Maggie leads the implementation of the flagship Energy Transition Zone project located next to Aberdeen South Harbour which will be at the heart of a sustainable, integrated energy transition cluster focused on net-zero activity. The project is supported through funding from Scottish Government, UK Government and Opportunity North East (ONE).
Maggie is an expert in the energy sector and economic development and was a member of the advisory council for the Scottish Government’s National Strategy for Economic Transformation. She was previously Deputy Chief Executive with ONE, leading the energy and digital and entrepreneurship activity, and before that Director of Energy for Scottish Enterprise.
Maggie is a member of the Board of Governors for Robert Gordon University.
