Private and block booking availability
You can hire out a court in the Sport Hall for various activities:
- Badminton Courts
- 5-a-side Football Pitches* which are separated by drop down nets
- Basketball Courts*
- Full sized Netball Court
- Volleyball Courts*
- 3-a-side Basketball Courts*
- Table Tennis Courts
- Cricket
- Pickleball

*Note that Basketball, Volleyball and 5-a-side Football cannot be booked online.
Booking Terms
- Prices vary for different activities and are dependent on membership type.
- Bookings can only be made on the hour, for a minimum of one-hour sessions.
- There is a 10-minute changeover period for each activity therefore although activities are booked for one hour, you may only have access for 50 minutes.
- Members can book up to one week in advance.
- Non-members can book up to a week in advance, however they must pay the amount required for that specific activity at the time of booking.
- You must cancel up to 24 hours in advance or you will be charged the fee of your booking.
- Badminton rackets, shuttlecocks and table tennis paddles and balls can be hired from the RGU SPORT reception desk for an additional small fee. Alternatively, you can bring your own rackets and balls for use.
- Note that there is a £10 holding charge for basket ball hire. The £10 will be refunded to the customer when the ball is returned in the same condition.
- Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early before your booking slot.
- Please arrive exercise ready to play your Sport. Please note that there are changing facilities on site which are available to use if required.
- Please ensure that all hire equipment is returned clean and fit for use
- Indoor shoes must be worn in the sports hall.
