Let's Talk Mental Health

Join us for a virtual discussion about how social restrictions have affected our mental health during RGU Alumni Mental Health Awareness Month.

Lockdown and its restrictions have been challenging, greatly limiting the amount of socialising we have been able to do, especially with our loved ones. At the start of lockdown, we began to rediscover the natural world again as we took our daily walks.

During this discussion, we will look at the impact of the pandemic and how social restrictions have affected our mental health, due to isolation and lack of human contact.

In addition to this, we will explore the positive impact rediscovering nature has had on many this year, the barriers surrounding access and how to maintain a healthy relationship with the outdoors.

RGU Alumni Mental Health Awareness Month

Every Thursday evening throughout May, we will delve into the realm of mental health as we explore several different elements that can affect our mental health. We will be joined by a panel of experts as they express their views on each of the topics and share best practices that we can embed into our everyday lives.
